Blood tests can not be below norm. If your test results are not satisfavtory, a less invasive procedure with a smaller volume may be considered. if you ever recall having issues with blood, hemoglobin level, iron level, etc, it would be beneficial to get them done in advance just so you have enough time to boost your immune system before the surgery.
Do I need to take Arnica or Bromelain?

Will I have drains and for how long?
Whether drains are necessary and for how long they are needed depends on various factors, including the type of surgery, extent of tissue removal, and individual healing characteristics. Your surgeon will discuss this with you during your preoperative consultation and provide specific recommendations based on your unique situation and surgical plan. With surgeries like MMO, tummy tuck, thigh lift, facelift, and others, you will have drains for at least 1-2 days after surgery
Is there a maximum amount of liposuction you can have?
Yes, there are limits to the amount of liposuction that can be safely performed during a single surgical session. The maximum amount of liposuction depends on various factors, including, but not limited to one's health, volume of the surgery, blood test results, safety limits, medical history, aesthetic goals, and procedure effectiveness. Liposuction to the abdomen is often limited due to risks associated with compromising blood supply and skin elasticity. Excessive liposuction can disrupt blood vessels, leading to tissue necrosis and delayed healing. Moreover, removing too much fat may result in loose or sagging skin if it lacks elasticity, causing cosmetic issues like irregularities or dimpling.
Why I can't get implants together with breast lift?
Breast implants with a breast lift isn't always recommended because it can increase the risk of complications such as poor wound healing, changes in nipple sensation, and potential issues with implant positioning. It's important for the tissues to heal properly after each procedure for the best results. Significant weight loss affects the skin's elasticity, making it less suitable for both procedures simultaneously. Your surgeon can provide more personalized guidance based on your individual anatomy and goals.
Will a tummy tuck repair hernia?
A tummy tuck can potentially repair a hernia, depending on the type and severity of the hernia. However, it's crucial to discuss this possibility with your surgeon during your consultation. They can evaluate the hernia and determine the best course of action to address it during the procedure. Additionally, your surgeon may recommend addressing any known or suspected hernias separately before or after the tummy tuck surgery to ensure the best possible outcomes for both procedures.
Will a tummy tuck fix my C section scar?
A tummy tuck can indeed improve the appearance of a C-section scar, but it's crucial to maintain realistic expectations regarding the results. Every individual's body and scar tissue are unique, so the extent of improvement can vary. It's advisable to have an open discussion about your expectations and concerns with your surgeon during the consultation.
Does tummy tuck fix separated muscles?
Yes, a tummy tuck can address separated abdominal muscles, a condition known as diastasis recti. During a tummy tuck procedure, your surgeon can tighten the abdominal muscles by suturing them together, effectively repairing the separation. However, it's important to note that while the tummy tuck can correct the anatomical issue, strengthening the muscles through physical activity is crucial for improving the aesthetic appearance and maintaining long-term results. It's advisable to discuss your specific concerns and goals with your surgeon during the consultation to ensure the best possible outcome tailored to your needs
Why am I asked to lose weight?
Our clinic accepts patients up to a specific BMI, and for those who have undergone weight loss surgery, we typically recommend waiting at least one year post-surgery with stable weight for six months minimum before considering plastic surgery. While you may be approved for surgery within our BMI guidelines, some doctors may still suggest weight loss for better surgical results. This recommendation is aimed at enhancing both safety and the cosmetic outcome of the procedure.
Why I can or can not have liposuction?
Liposuction is not a weight-loss surgery; rather, it is a body-contouring procedure aimed at sculpting and reshaping specific areas of the body by removing localized fat deposits. Unlike weight-loss surgeries such as gastric bypass or gastric sleeve procedures, liposuction targets stubborn fat that may be resistant to diet and exercise. While liposuction can lead to a slimmer appearance and improved body contours, its primary goal is aesthetic enhancement rather than significant weight reduction. It's important to have realistic expectations about the outcomes of liposuction and understand that it is not a solution for overall weight loss.
Are stitches dissolvable? Do I need to remove them?
Stitches can be either dissolvable or non-dissolvable, depending on the type of surgery and the preferences of the surgeon. Dissolvable stitches are made of materials that break down over time within the body and do not require removal. Non-dissolvable stitches, on the other hand, need to be removed by a healthcare professional after a certain period. Your surgeon will choose the most appropriate type of stitches.
How soon after child birth can I have surgery?
The timing for undergoing surgery after childbirth is influenced by several factors, each crucial in ensuring a safe and successful procedure. These factors include the specific type of surgery, your overall health status, and the progress of your postpartum recovery. For breast surgery, it's recommended to wait a minimum of 6 months after ceasing breastfeeding. This allows the breasts to stabilize in size and shape after the fluctuations associated with nursing. Waiting ensures a more accurate assessment of your breast size and symmetry, enhancing the effectiveness and longevity of the surgical outcome. For a tummy tuck, it's advisable to wait at least 1 year after childbirth. This timeframe allows your body to fully recover from the physical changes brought about by pregnancy and childbirth. Waiting ensures that any residual abdominal swelling or skin laxity has resolved, providing a more stable foundation for the surgery.
What if my BMI has changed since i got a quote?
On the day of surgery, your BMI must be 28 or less. If it is higher, the price of surgery will increase by 500 eur. If the BMI is 30 or more, the surgery won't be performed.
Why do I have to wait 1 year after WLS to have skin removal surgery?
The reason for waiting about a year after weight loss surgery before undergoing skin removal surgery is primarily to allow your body to stabilize. During the first year, your weight tends to decrease at a relatively rapid pace. Waiting allows your weight to stabilize, giving your body time to adjust to its new size and reducing the risk of complications during skin removal surgery. Waiting allows time for the skin to gradually retract and for its elasticity to improve to some extent. This can result in better outcomes and more satisfactory cosmetic results after skin removal surgery.
