According to the manufacturer, the material gradually breaks down over approximately 18 to 24 months. This is an estimated timeframe rather than an exact period for every patient.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>As the mesh is resorbed, the patient's own connective tissue develops within its structure. This means that the disappearance of the mesh does not necessarily mean that all support disappears at the same time. The aim is for newly formed tissue to gradually take over part of this supporting function.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>If breast implants are also used during surgery, it is important to distinguish between the two devices. The mesh is resorbable, while the breast implant remains in place.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch3>Do the Results Last Longer?\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cp>Additional reinforcement may help support the breast contour created during surgery.
